Even though the Infinity is a UNSC ship and crew Palmer and Lasky backed the Chief up in Hal 4, will they continue to have his side in halo 5 even though Locke is tasked with finding and from the trailers possibly even kill him if necessary?
Depends on how they see him now after the video of him shooting up a peace talks.
They will probably remain neutral. If they help the Chief, they will be branded as traitors, while helping Locke will be personal treason(between them and the Chief), so they will simply go and kill some covenants while Locke tries to hunt the Chief.
Although that also brings up the question again as to why the palmer is Infinity burning in the sky?

To me Lasky is on par with Thel as the strongest character in Halo’s Universe. So, yeah, he will side with John.

that’s what I’m hoping for. And the cool. Thing is that the crew and Spartans on the infinity fallow him and believe in him meaning the chief wont be without allies
I think halve of them will fight for the chief, and half won’t. I do think that the Arbiter and the elites will fight for him though.

The Infinity seems to be a flying junk pile (Notice the background in the trailers) I believe Lasky will if he’s stuck without the Infinity, not sure about Palmer

I find very few people consider the possibility that Chief did actually do whatever bad things he’s accused of, whether it’s because he’s mistaken, or just plain snapped. If he did, we get a conflicted Lasky. Conflicted Lasky = Character development = Good thing.

I think we may know the answer to who the Lasky helps from the live action trailers. Locke. In both of the trailers the Infinity was heavily damaged but I’m guessing that from the Chiefs little monologue at the beginning of his trailer that he was the one that did the damage.
