At this point it has become well known that Jun survived Reach and trains and enlists the spartan 4s. But will he return. Buck made a return so I see no reason for him not to. And plus he has become such an iconic Halo character and one of my personal favorite it would be nice to see him in a Halo game again.
No he wont. He officially retired as a Spartan to become one of the leader of the Spartan IV program.
Jun does desk work now. I don’t think he’ll return to the field.
It’s always possible he will appear somehow. I mean we have seen a spartan come out of retirement before. More likely in the EU then the games.
Why should he return? He seem as one of the best fitted persons to find potential Spartans, and after reading New Blood he seem good at making them join too. He is probably more needed where he is rather than in the field.

I can just imagine him sitting at a desk in a suit looking over at a sniper rifle and sighing, wishing he could be back in the field. lol
He could return without being on the field you know. He could make a cameo in a cutscene or something.
Maybe in halo 6 there will be Spartan V’s and you see Jun training or overlooking them in the background?
I’m mean if you look at the description of the vigilant armor in Halo 5 it’s pretty obvious that the vip in the Spartan Branch who ordered this armor was Jun and seriously do you think the UNSC would give him one of the most expensive things there is so he could just put it in his office as a nice decoration? Would be an extreme waste of ressources so I think we might see him back on the battlefield…
I might just be interpreting too much into the armor description but I’m a total reach fanboy and I always liked Jun so it would be awesome to see him back in business. And again why would they give him a gen2 armor if he still has his old one?
well following the events of halo 5 I think that the UNSC can use every spartan it can get, whether or not they are supposed to be resigned to desk work; so i think that it is entirely possible that he will return. I imagine he will fill a similar role to that of Palmer.
Would’ve loved to have seen Jun return about three years ago, but after 343i turned him into Jun “defections are a success” the Musa-Lackey I hope he stays as far away from anything as possible

There could be a funny audio easter egg in H6 of him ranting to the Chief
Jun isn’t fully retired. The Vigilant class armor in Halo 5 (for and unknown VIP) was obviously for him. It’s likely the at they still have JUN go on extremely high value missions.
I don’t like what they have done to him. He used to be a great sniper who liked to work in the field. Now all he does is back up the Spartan 4 leader and do shadowy recruiting jobs. I don’t like how he pushed Buck into becoming an ODST. I really don’t like how it is being made out that Spartan 4’s are the greatest things ever and everyone wants to join them.
It would be weird to see Jun in Halo 6 at a desk looking a lot like a familiar assassin cough Hitman cough

Well, Spartan-IVs ARE the best soldier a person can become at this point.

Musa is not a Spartan IV. He is a Spartan II who was crippled by the augmentation process.
