How funny would it be if it was John Doe? That’s kind of an expression or nickname for when someone’s real name is unknown. For example: Some guy is arrested, but there are ZERO records of him (birth certificate, ID, etc). They guy would be referred to as a John Doe.
I feel like every surname they could possibly give him would be underwhelming.
His name is John Halo. Why else is the game called Halo? Proof? They named the movie Rambo because the main character is John Rambo.
