Hello, the title really says it all. I love Halo Infinite’s BTB. But my main problem is the lack of Jeff as the announcer. Although I think Agryna is a cool character, she belongs in the Academy more than BTB. I feel like she isn’t a good announcer in BTB. I want Jeff to voice my multikills and sprees, along with objectives. And since there’s already clips of Jeff saying stuff like “Slayer” and “Capture the Flag”, I think they should use those instead.

Yes i agree. I think Agryna is cool too, but her callouts sounded really dispassionate tbh. It would be cool if she would make the same callouts like Jeff (Double Kill,! Triple Kill!, etc.)
At least let us choose between Agryna and Jeff, Jeff is just too iconic xD

I don’t mind Agryna at all, it’s just the lack of call outs in BTB that put me off. If she calls out multi-kills etc. then I have no real problem.

I’m fine with Agryna as a voice to help with updating objectives in the game (A better version of Palmer from Halo 5) along with your personal AI, but for medals or at the very least the multi kill and spree medals Jeff needs to be there. It just feels empty when he doesn’t announce something where he normally would.

I hope there is an option for Jeff Steitzer as all announcing voice lines but I can understand why they want to shake things up.
What makes her cool? Shouting nonsensical one-liners to six Spartan candidates in formation?

Jeff is iconic and to be honest I’d prefer to hear his voice whispering sweet “Double Kill!”'s in my ear.
Oh definitely, I would love to hear “Perfect!”, “Demon!”, and “Killionaire!” instead of “Incredible work, Spartan!”

I can see Jeff Only as an option somehow, along with a bunch more AI being added.
It’s interesting, but even in clips of 4v4s there’s a lot of crosstalk or audio stacking. Which subjectively I find the AIs an amusing novelty, they don’t really jive with me because they’re overly expressive.
I’m almost inclined to write and voice a more “tactical” AI set of lines as an example, because keeping the prompts as short, concise, and nearly monotone seems more useful. Although I’d need a list of prompts like we do in iRacing for spotter packs, etc.

I could be wrong, but isn’t Jeff still doing the intro’s like “Slayer” and “Capture the Flag” as well as the medals. and Agryna is all the other random intel? I could be wrong but I thought I heard somewhere it was a combo of the two.

Yeah, but they didn’t say he’d be replacing the Spartan commander. The audio is already cluttered enough. We need options to turn off specific individuals.
