Will it take a year for 343 to realize that thousands of people quit this game because of playlists, and weapon in-balances?

this game really isn’t bad. The only two things that I really think needs changing is a GIANT change to the playlists, and a few weapon balances and tweaks. The playlists need to be back to how they should be.

Team Slayer - infinity slayer no PO static weapon spawns Classic slayer AR’s/ BR’s/ DMR’s

Big team slayer - Infinity slayer no PO static weapon spawns Classic slayer AR’s/ BR’s/ and objective gametypes

Team Objective - all former objective gametypes like assault, multiflag, ect.

Team Throwdown - how it is now

Rumble pit / Lone wolfs - NO PO static weapon spawns Regicide Objective

Swat - with objective

Action sack - mess around stuff :slight_smile:

Griffball - as is

Team Doubles - Oddball and KOTH

Multiteam - KOTH, Oddball, Infinity slayer, Classic slayer AR’s/ BR’s/ DMR’s, and other gametypes that are fun :slight_smile:

Infection - classic infection, on the left side of the voting screen flood will always be an option.

Team Snipers - as it is now, maybe some minor tweaks.

I think these would work great in halo 4. They could be tweaked to be even better, or even be split into ranked and social when CSR comes.

and the weapon inbalances are mainly DMR it either needs to have a ROF nerf or a range nerf and a slight ROF nerf.

Lets just hope 343 doesn’t take 1 or 2 years to do this, or anything like this… lets hope it doesn’t take halo 5.

Gametypes that have “infinity” in the name are supposed to have ordinance drops, that’s the theme. They won’t be taking the infinity out of infinity slayer.

Basically you’re just asking for a classic playlist.

I was thinking of infinity slayer being the slayer were you have your custom loadouts… and since a lot of people don’t like random ordinance and PO I would think they should take it out. I guess they could still have random ordanance, but I would like it out.

I also forgot about putting flood mode in there…

Halo titles make more money with each release, adn after that it doesn;t matter. Microsoft seems to think by penny pinching during releases, and eventually bankrupting the games core over time is worth it when in actuality it’s smarter to take take care of your franchise, and make improvements like COD BLOPS 2 does.

The new Blops get’s at least 2 updates a month, and random hot fixes whenever necessary to make the game the most enjoyable, and best functioning FPS.

So that leaves you with the question: Why doesn’t 343i do similar, and actually prove they care bout Halo’s life span? Answer: They have money to make for microsoft, and making Halo the best it can be isn’t on that agenda. (FACT)

With that mind this is the answer to your question: No, They are aware of what is happening, but they will never address these issues in Halo 4, they might take somethings in for Halo 5, but 343i refuses to make the best improvisions on Halo 4.

This. And yet you want to fold CTF, in which the default gametype is the closest to a classic style of gameplay next to Throwdown.

Seems a lot of players assume CTF is Infinity settings, when normally that’s not the case.

Exactly, they don’t care at all, that is why we have a new playlist every week, update’s to current playlist’s, weekly Spartan ops mission’s, balancing for weapon’s , why do you have to leave the game to die 343? WHY!?!?!

I still play the game and enjoy it, but the longevity of it just isn’t there. I have been playing Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, skyrim, and a bunch of other random games too.

I agree with most of what you wrote OP. However, Infinity slayer needs to be placed in something like Action Sack, or a social playlist because it is so plagued with random everything. What they need more than anything is a new Slayer mode entirely. It would be a more classic slayer setting. Infinity Big team can be placed in BTB which would have a classic mode, Infinity, and objective kinds of games to select on the menus.

Infinity Slayer is fine but to me it is like a cake. Very tasty, but you don’t want it to be your main meal every day. You are going to get sick of eating cake very fast. I want my meat and potatoes or in other words, a balanced classic slayer more reminiscent to Halo 2/3 settings.
