Narrative events are an integral part of the story. New and current players should not be deprived of all that content, if they missed it. There must be a way players can earn previously missed event rewards within a reasonable timeframe. Vaulting or locking rewards for long periods of time adds a huge negative experience to the player. New players would not be encouraged to play knowing they missed event rewards that are “currently unavailable.” Please 343 for the sake of your players provide a way for all players to be able to earn missed event rewards in the near future.
Not a chance. Play the game every day and visit the shop every day or you’ll miss your chance.

I’m in agreement on story inclusion, but cosmetics aren’t part of the story, just a visual representation of participation.
Which is why it’s usually superseded by future events that offer new cosmetics as rewards for participating.
By this logic, vice versa they would be encouraged to play knowing new cosmetics are in rotation.
Yearly rotation events sure, seasonal rotation events not so much.
Actually the rewards are still based off the narrative theme. So technically they are part of the story.

The events dont really have narratives to miss out on just a bunch of cosmetics. And most of the cool cosmetics from the events cost money
FOMO is conniving and anti-player.
Maybe do a “throwback event” when past items become unlockable again?
Hey i say we should gets pasts events and each time they do it they could add more levels for them. I mean this or i can let my wallet do the talking and pay for all the past event cosmetics.
