Invasion has to be my favorite Halo game mode of all time and one of my favorite video game modes in any game I have played.
Halo Infinite has been an absolute blast to play and I am curious if there is any slim possibility of Invasion returning in Infinite? Whether it be the old maps being imported over (if that’s even possible) or new maps built around the mode, or hell even both. I figured here is the best place to get my thoughts out there. Would be absolutely ecstatic to hear any positive news regarding the mode.
It would be shocking if they designed maps around it… More likely would be them either releasing the mode itself and using Forge maps, or if they just somehow got it to work for BTB or something idk.
Heck, i’d take a few forge maps made for Invasion. I’d take whatever i can get if it means Invasion joins the matchmaking list haha
Pretty sure 343 would just burst into flames if they made elites playable.
I don’t follow? Do they have issues with elites lol?
Invasion would make a lot of sense on Infinite, except this time it would likely be Brutes VS Spartans.
The problem I see right away is that armor abilities were generally more useful than most equipment, save for the grapple hook.
100% gonna be in Forge customs or modded forge customs. Already seen people using mod tools to play as NPC enemies and bosses, and modding vehicles. Whether 343 likes it or not, the fans will fix the game for them, by making Forge modes and maps better than the official game ones. It’s sad, but expected. Modded Reach customs were insane. I hope to see similar in Infinite.
