I think it will be amazing. what about you?
Yes I think it will be more then amazing I can not wait I’m so excited !!!

Yhea it looks really good
It looks pretty promising. The fact that the game is made by actual fans from the community made me shed some literal tears of happiness when i found out about this on Youtube. I know that it’s not an Xbox port, but the fact that it’s going on Steam and PC if that’s what is going on makes me want to make a PC just for that one game!!!
In all honesty I don’t really care too much because I more than likely won’t be playing it. At least not more than giving it perhaps the curious try just to know that I experienced it.
I don’t really game FPSs on the PC and I don’t intend to start because of it. Perhaps the main reason why is because I’ve never really been a fan of the far superior mouse and keyboard style of playing a FPS and while you can play with a controller on the PC it would put you at a significant disadvantage; so much so that I’d simply prefer not to play.
Anyways, since I don’t want to see the future Halo population split even further I’m kind of rooting against it from being too awesome. Perhaps it’ll fill an interesting niche for some, but I certainly don’t want to see it greatly affect future official titles in a negative manner regarding their potential population numbers, but hey… that’s just me and my perspective.
Nevertheless, I can admit that it is pretty neat that a bunch of fans would put that amount of time and effort into making something such as that… it’s pretty cool from that aspect.
It looks really good, but I probably won’t ever play it.
You got to admit,
Them Elites are THICC
Looks good, and it’s a niche product, it isn’t going to take away from the population of future Halo titles at all. It’ll get a good few thousand players, but Halo’s population will always be utterly dominant on the Xbox. Look at Halo 5 Forge, that was advertised to Halo fans just as Instillation 01 was, and that’s essentially dead, even with the Custom Browser. Not that I think Instillation 01 will fail, but it won’t gain anywhere near the traction of a regular Halo game, which is fine by me. It’ll have a healthy population, and so will Xbox Halo games. Which means even more Halo variety for me
I do however hope that 343i learn a thing or two from the buzz surrounding Instillation 01. Guess what? The fans want the old-school Halo, with playable Elites. I’m not a classic purist, I love Halo 4 and 5, and I even like the new art style (most of the time) but it’s not recognisably Halo. Halo Wars 2 wasn’t a step in the right direction, it was a leap. If they follow that path and take inspiration from Instillation 01, then I dare say we could glimpse once more at a golden age for Halo like 2001-2009.
Heck ya!
It might be but I will never know since my PC is crap to use for gaming.
Project Contingency looks much better, IMO…
I’m definely going to get Installation 01, put I have my eye on Project Contigency. It looks like it’s going to be a more dedicated, polished and better built game over I01.
But players need to remember the both are fan games, they will not be extremely polished and they will not be top of the board brilliant games. Glitches are more than likely in both these projects so I can’t suggest hyping this up too much.
Installation 01 has something that the last few Halo titles have seemingly lacked: Passion. This is a game that is being made with the knowledge that it will make no money that exists as a love letter to fans of the classic games. It doesn’t exist with a goal of selling micro transaction -Yoink-, and it doesn’t try to desperately win over fans of other franchises with changes to Halos staple gameplay. It exists as a monument to the passion that fans of this franchise have, something that has been lacking the recent official Halo titles.
TL;DR: Yes, I am excited
I’m sure it’ll be fun, but honestly with MCC I don’t see THAT much of a point in making a MM game practically the same as Halo 3.
I don’t know yet, from what I’ve seen so far it looks like an okay distraction but not something I’d play too much of.
