If it does, are there downfalls like graphics and framerate reductions?
Im planning on getting the PS5 because there are more games there that interest me while Halo Infinite is the only game on Series X.
So I just got to know if its on Xbox one so I dont have to upgrade and if theres any downgrades for it.

none.
phil spencer confirm the games will be upgarded to series x versions. if your planning on getting the series x that is in the future. so smart delivery is a thing.
no. no downgrades to anything.
if anybody says. ignore them.
They said it’d be on the One, Series-X, and PC - so you don’t have to buy a XSX right away no, but you’ll probably get better performance on it than on the One. (Or if you have a real good PC, can just play it on that too. Choice is yours!)

The Xbox Series X version will likely support higher performance and graphical settings, just like how some games do on the current Xbox One X. That being said, the game will be fully functional on Xbox One family of consoles (Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X), so you don’t have to upgrade if you don’t want to.

In example, the performance and graphical difference of Black ops 3 on Xbox 360 vs the Xbox One is very major.
Are we talking Halo Infinite will be that much of a difference like my example but from Xbox One to Xbox Series X?

At this time, we have no idea the degree of differences will be between the two versions.

Considering OG X1 could barely pull off 1080p in Halo 5, I wouldn’t hold my breath for a well-performing H:I on X1. X1X however might be alright.

There’s a big difference between day one Xbox One consoles and Xbox One X. I would imagine another big difference between Xbox One X and Series X. There will be graphical and loading time differences between Xbox One and Series X, no doubt about it. However, like Chimera30 said, we don’t know to what degree.
We’ll hopefully find out in July, but you don’t need to upgrade, Halo Infinite will play on all Xbox One consoles and you’ll get the Series X upgrade for free through Smart Delivery when you decide to buy Series X.
For my wallets sake I hope so but I feel like it might be on both Xbox one and Xbox Series X

Technically not entirely true. Ray Tracing is an only on the XsX, not the X1. Nothing have been confirmed about exclusive features on the XsX Halo Infinite version yet and I’m pretty sure that if 343i wants it then they will most likely include Ray Tracing in the XsX Infinite version.
