I bought the Halo Master Chief Collection in November (and still have the receipt to prove it) and installed it shortly after buying it. I do not know if I ever actually booted up the game and played anything before 12/19/14 because I knew how many problems there were with the game. I want to make sure I don’t get excluded from the ‘thank you compensation’ since I bought and installed the game in November. Any help that an admin could provide would be greatly appreciated.
As long as you played Halo: The Master Chief Collection between its launch on November 11, 2014 through December 19, 2014 at 11:59 pm PST you will get the compensation. They verify your activity through online gameplay on their servers. They haven’t released any other requirements other than that just yet. I sent them an email last week as my activity on the game only starts December 20 even though I bought nd played the game on the 18th but they haven’t replied yet 
Do you have an email address? I wasn’t able to find any phone number or email address for 343… And when I chatted someone at Microsoft they couldn’t give me any real contact information other than posting on these forums.
No probably not, it’s specifically for people who played the game I don’t see why it would matter if you installed it or not. Why do you think you deserve to get the content for players who played the game when you did not at all? Sounds fair to me
