So, with the new update running, everyone has swarmed Arena.
The Living Dead gametype “Infection” is back and everyone is getting on.
Now, as tradition demands (all the way back from H3’s L-D weekend) the usual precaution is to go about the map looking out for sweet spots to hold out.
Now some maps have better places than others, but there is one map in particular which has a spot that needs patching. I’m talking about the map Backwood (I think that is the name.)
There are a few trees at the back of the map, across the way from the sniper spawn. There are two trees that you can hide behind that are opposite to one another.
The second tree is by a bush which I was originally hiding in, but in a state of panic I jumped up and back. I found myself behind the tree, so there is a way to get there.
I became last man standing, as my friend was killed. The players could not hit me because I had crouched and was able to shoot back at them, killing a lot. Some zombies found a way in but I killed them before I got swarmed.
You can be killed here, as they can swarm you or hit you when you are standing.
However most players could not get to me so I was able to shoot back, like I said some did get in but I killed them before getting got.
I know if you stand you can die because my mate went there a few rounds later and learned this.
But I am just wondering if I would get banned because I was not getting hit by the majority of the players?

From your description it seems a lot like the armory glitch in that it is unsporting/probably cheating, but I’ve yet to hear about anyone complain about being banned for doing it.
this has been asked, and i see no reason you wold be banned, some players might be salty and try to report you for it but from what ive seen it is easy to get there and it is inside the map. plus you said you can still die if the zombies know that they are doing. its not like you are completely untouchable. i would not worry honestly
I doubt it as you were not truly inactive, and you finished the game.

its not, its literally a hiding spot behind a tree that you jump then fall in. its not hard to get into and you arent invisible to anyone. you arent breaking any walls or boundaries

ok and cheating is not always exploiting, hence why i said both of them
I didn’t go back there afterwards, I was mainly focused on being in the bush so I don’t know if that helps anything…
