Hello I’m wondering if someone here on the halo 4 forums might have an aswer to my promlem wich others might be having as well I don’t know it’s about my XP so I’ve just got my Limited Edition a few days ago and between school and church I have not had much time to play. I have a free xbox Live membership and have not yet redeemed the 14 days gold card and I have only so far done 1 challenge for 2000XP (One of the first weekly challenges Thuderstruck to be exact) that ought to tell you how long I’ve got to play anyway I’m still at 0XP and the game tells me that I’ve completed the chalenge yet still no XP and no leveling up I am not a newb and am aware of the XP cap and the ban for cheating and boosting, but I don’t have any XP so there’s no way it could be caped and I don’t beleive that I am banned I’ve done nothing that would result in banning I have no ban messages and I have not even played multplayer yet I still only have a free membership right now all I’ve been playing is campaign I’ve have contacted the xbox support team (after waiting for quite some time, patiently of course)and they told me to come here if someone could help me I would really appreciate it, thanks for your time reading this…
It could be a bug. If you don’t download everything from the server or whatever you’re playing as an offline spartan or something and you may be stuck at SR-1. I don’t really know your circumstance though and don’t take anything I say as fact because I really don’t know.
Or maybe you need to be gold to gain exp. I really don’t know, sorry.
I haven’t seen a single person past SR1 that hadn’t played MM/SO yet. Just try playing 1 match of War Games when you get Gold. It will hopefully be there :).
Hey, thanks guys for responding I appreciate it I tried what you said… sadly I did not get my previously earned XP though it still says I completed the challenge the good news is I’m currently at SR-5 and gaining more XP I guess the only way to earn XP is to be currently signed up for gold and then complete challenges and matches… though you can still complete campaign challenges on the free membership you can not gain XP apparently…
