The armor requires you to clear every single Halo campaign on legendary in the Master Chief Collection. This can be quite the challenge for some when you realize that you have to complete Halo 2 solo or have a really good friend that doesn’t mind clearing the entire mission for you while you hide. This is because legendary co-op in Halo 2 has the iron skull effect present. Halo: CE also has a somewhat challenging legendary mode due to game mechanics that differ from future Halo entries.
It will be Rare indeed, but it is possible to earn the Armor. Currently I am having some slight trouble with CE Legendary so far but I am thankful for being done with Halo 2 Legendary Solo.

CE is the hardest. People say Halo 2 is the hardest, but CE is just…different.

Good luck. I can’t bring myself to play Halo 4. Awful campaign.
DREADED doing 2, took me 3 weeks, blew through Halo 3 in 2-3 days and currently on my fourth day of H4 on the second last mission. I did the Master Chief Saga Playlist last week and I found Halo: CE was extremely time consuming and frustrating… on freaking normal. So I’m not gonna have fun with that.

Once I get the game and the XBOX one I’m going headlong towards that armor. I beat all the games once, I can do it again!
I don’t think the difficulty of the campaign is what will make it rare. Sadly, many don’t even care about the campaign, so they don’t play it at all and therefore won’t have the armor.
I doubt it’s going to be rare for players to own it, but it might be rare to see one. I’ve unlocked it, but I won’t use it.
I only saw it once in the beta, looked pretty badass.

I wasn’t planning on using it beforehand, wanting to have a mix and match of different armours. But seeing as how you can’t mix and match in Halo 5’s beta, I might just go full Helioskrill.

finished ce and 2, half way through 3, and h4 is the shortest so that’d be no trouble

I have Helioskrill, I only saw like 2 other people with it in the early beta
Yes, I think it will be rare.
Only a few will try to beat all the campaigns on legendary. Others will not even play the campaign and some like me, who already have it, won’t use it.
I will use it for the Beta, but if Halo 5 has the same armor as Halo 4 (+ new ones) then I will use my Halo 4 armor because I loved it. Maybe I will change it a bit with some new armor parts, but Halo 4’s Scout helmet is a must for me. I really love it for some reason. (funny thing is that I am not worried that they will remove my helmet, because it is a basic armor thanks to that b***h, I mean Palmer :P)
(I am kidding, I now like Palmer because of Halo Escalation, a bit at least)
I doubt it, its not really that hard to get. Plus even if people find legendary campaign a challenge, they have almost a year to do it. I already have it and used it through early access
I’m starting with H4 because it’s the only one I could find non-speedrun guides for (lol), so I know how to beat them.
Side note: Does Helioskrill not unlock if you didn’t get it before/during H5 beta?
Getting the Legend achievement is more time-consuming than difficult. I beat all four campaigns on Legendary, solo. Save for a few select missions, it’s really not as daunting as you may suspect. In fact, it can be incredibly fun.
I already beat the Legendary levels on the original games except Halo 2. So it was more time consuming than hard. From order from hardest to easiest, it goes from Halo 2, Halo: CE, Halo 4, then Halo 3. The armor was the only thing I did the achievements again for. In the entire time in the Beta, I was the only one I’ve seen with the Helioscrill armor.
