Will HCS team “weapon kits” turn into weapon coatings soon? You can’t add the HCS weapon charm to the HCS weapon because they are kits and not coatings. :S

I haven’t bought a new HCS team pack for season 2. Mainly because I was disappointed that we couldn’t alter the kits from Season 1. Not the armor kit and also not the BR kit.

Now what surprised me the most was that the new season 2 kits have actual weapon charms of the teams. But you cannot equip those to the HCS weapon, because the weapons (BR, AR and Sidekick) are not considered coatings but kits. Ugh.

343, are you going to fix this soon?

I feel the season 1 bundle should’ve contained: HCS team armor coating, BR coating and an emblem.
And the season 2 bundle the AR and Sidekick coatings, weapon charm and vehicle coatings.

I know 343 said somewhere they are going to look at the HCS bundles to give us more freedom. I just hope that means also the kits from seasons 1 and 2.

Somewhat off topic, but why aren’t Season 1s HCS customization bundles purchasable anymore? Halo E-Sports is one of the best parts of this game. Especially leading up to the Word Championship this October, Season 2s HCS bundles just don’t give new fans a good enough option to represent their team.

Well the answer is FOMO. “Buy this now, otherwise you will never be able to buy it again.” If they continue to sell it the next season, the FOMO doesn’t work.

Hopefully as I like the armour coating and weapon coating but don’t use them because they’re so restrictive.

I was using the BR for ages, but since I got the dragon style tip, I’ve stopped using it.
