Will Halo Waypoint Ever Be Made Free?

The fact that the Halo Waypoint app on the Xbox 360 required an Xbox Live Gold subscription at all is ridiculous, but what’s even worse is the fact that it still does despite the fact that, to my knowledge, no other app on the console does.

The Halo Waypoint app barely even functions at this point and is only good for unlocking armor in Halo: Reach etc., but even that can’t be done without paying a fee. So my question is simple…

Will the Halo Waypoint app ever be made free?

It is free. You want Xbox Live to be free and that’s a different question.

The 360 marketplace is far different than the Xbox One store.

But it isn’t. Unless you have a Gold subscription, you can’t actually access any more than some Halo 4 stats.
