Will Halo Wars 2 be playable offline?

I ask this question because I’ve just returned from holiday in Tasmania, and returning home to my annoyance there appears to be no internet connection in my house.

Well, that’s okay, or cares. I’ll just play some Halo Wars 1 (disc) on my 1TB Xbox One. (Insert already installed disc). Uh oh, wait, it won’t let me play unless I’m online. Thankyou 343 for making Halo Wars 1 unplayable while offline. Thank you so much, I appreciate not being able to play the game offline.

What do you guys think, will Halo Wars 2 be put under shackles, or liberated for our convenience?

You can’t play halo wars offline? Never knew that. I think it’s only that way because of backwards compatibility.

Halo wars 2 shouldn’t be that way, you will at least be able to play single player and hopefully skirmish AI.

something might be wrong with your system if you cant play halo wars 1 offline, I have it and it works fine offline with what I do, which is campaign or skirmish. so, halo wars 1 is playable offline, and as for halo wars 2, why would it not have offline mode(s)?

I have played it offline multiple times. Like Madcelt59 said, something might be wrong with your xbox.
