I thin the TU will do it. Everyone I know who quit Reach is excited to play again because of no bloom etc.

Halo will always have it loyal fans. But as for its former glory, its gonna take more than a TU for that.
To glorify Halo Reach, per say, so that Halo’s past audience enjoys it, 2 things had to happen with Halo Anniversary.
For me, number 2 is the biggie. I honestly don’t mind bloom anymore all that much, sure I’d like it gone, but i can live with it.
And hell, I despise armor lock, but I play squad slayer to avoid it.
But no matter what Playlist I play, good maps are hard and few between.
The maps really keep me from playing Halo as much as I used to.
The most played small maps in Reach are countdown and sword base, perhaps two of the worst halo maps every made.
I was really hoping for a lockout remake and some maps from halo 3 (the pit and guardian).
I could live with some good maps from halo 1 as well… (hang 'em high).
But from the two I’ve seen so far, I’m not too sure.
I think the forge variation of Beaver Creek in team classic currently, is a very good remake. And the style of forge world actually fits that remake. I think to remake that map in Halo Anniversary was a bit redundant.
So hopefully the remaining 4 TBA are quality maps.
1-50 ranking system would just be the icing on the cake.
It can but It’ll be hard
It should have interesting new gameplay features
with great graphics and engine
To return Halo to its former glory, all you need is a team of dedicated developers who are willing to fix any problems the game may have. Reach 's features were bad because Bungie was not willing to fix what was wrong with them. As a result, bloom did not work, Armor Lock lasted five seconds, and Jetpack let you fly to the moon. 343 does not have the resources to fix the problems presented in Reach. They are, however, offering a different game experience that looks like it will bring a lot of folks back. So is Halo going to return to its former glory? Of course, so long as the developers have their eyes on the prize and their ears on the people.
I think not.
Personally, I believe that the Title Update will help, though it won’t be able to pull everyone back or fix everything people dislike.
More importantly, however: Halo 2 is many people’s prized Halo game and it was also the best-quality shooter out at the time.
Halo 3 comes out and maintains that, but then CoD4 comes out. CoD2 had previously taken some players away, obviously, as did the appalling CoD3, but CoD4 was the first real serious competitor for Halo.
When Reach’s Title Update rolls around, Gears 3, MW3, Battlefield3 and Skyrim will all be out. This isn’t on the same scale as CoD4’s impact on H3. This is far greater and for this reason, even if all others can be excluded, Halo will never return to its ‘former glory’.
