So can somebody please clarify this?
I heard that Infinite won’t have a exp system progression system. I doesn’t make sense to me because i have entered alot of Halo Infinite promotion codes from Monster Energy cans that were all for double exp on Infinite.
Yet now I hear that the only means to rank up is by doing challenges. So what were all those double exp codes for?

The 2XP tokens were in the last Halo Infinite flight and were for the BattlePass, completing challenges with a 2XP token would give you more XP for that challenge.
There was no “player levelling” in the flight and that won’t likely be in the final game either. The numbers next to peoples name in the flight was a emblem and not a level, you were able to change it on the waypoint app.
The only progression in Halo Infinite (at launch) will be the BattlePass. You level the BattlePass by completing daily & weekly challenges.
Daily challenges have been increased number quantity for the full game and will give out “complete 1 match” challenges once the main ones have been done - this essentially gives players XP per match they play.
