I was thinking (like all halo fans) what gametypes will be carried over to halo infinite i know things like slayer and swat will be in the game but what about warzone?
Well I’m 99.9% sure they’re going to double down on microtransactions for H6, so yeah, I’d expect some kind of reincarnation of Warzone.

I never liked Warzone, but that was down to the rng loot crate style req packs. The fact you could buy more chances of better reqs with cash adds insult to injury. I’m all for big team battle game types, but not with predadory rng loot systems attached.
If 343i bring back Warzone in Halo Infinite, and it’s the same as Halo 5, I doubt I’ll buy it. I didn’t buy SWBF 2, Shadows of War and a few others because of rng loot crate systems. I feel the same about all games going forward.
If developers want to put micro transactions in games, I’ll tolerate buy what you see cosmetics. I will not support predatory rng loot systems in games, especially when they’re tied to progression like SWBF 2.
The Sprint vidocs showed that 343 put a ton of effort into creating Warzone, so it makes no sense for them to abandon it for Infinite. Halo: Infinite will give them the opportunity to polish the game mode (no more glitching intro/outro cutscenes would be great).
MTs are also almost a given but I don’t see how anybody could compare Halo 5’s REQ system to Battlefront 2’s MTs. One can be earned relatively easily with in-game money. The other is custom designed to force you buy lootboxes with real money as the grind is otherwise absurd.
as much as i like the idea of AI enemys on maps, i don’t want the h5 warzone to return. i don’t want another MT riddled gamemode in halo which is (very close to) pay2win (warzone turbo is already pay2win)
I hope Warzone doesn’t return due to it leaving a bad taste in my mouth for its p2w-esque nature and probably the cause for leaving BTB on the sidewalk, but I’m confident (sadly) that they’re gonna monetise Halo Infinite in some way.
Because hey! Who wouldn’t want to miss a tool that’ll grant them a lot more money than before?
I’m sure it will but i personally hope its a heavily modified version without microtransactions playing into it. i’d like to see it where you have a pre determined number of each req for every match, everyone on the same req level, have big name unique boss fights for the mythic bosses (tartus, prophet of regret, etc) and no copy capture points or bases. I know i have more but thats all i can think of right now.
I hope so because I like to play it.
Its where the reqs at…
Damn microtransactions
i hope Warzone comes back i know a lot of the players dont enjoy it as much as the traditional arena but i very much enjoy Warzone and have found well over half of my time played on Halo 5 comes from Warzone itself please bring it back
Really hope it does come back and they add more features and such. I had a ton of fun playing it on 5 with friends.
I dont really enjoyed warzone
I would rather prefer play coop firefight with customizable waves
A lot of posters seem to be equating Warzone with microtransaction reqs: what if we had Warzone without req packs.
i hope warzone gets back but then like in halo 5 it most be a firefight game type 5 Spartans Vs AI’s then it will be fun.
I hope warzone doesn’t come back and BTB and firefight become more of a focus. Loadouts and all these weapon and vehicle variants are just not necessary. If you want more weapons and vehicles, just add new ones and bring some old ones back.
I know warzone or some form of it will be back because I think microtransactions will be back too unfortunately…ugh…
Considering how successful WZ is I think it’s a safe bet it will be back. I really hope they tweak the req system though, only thing I disliked about WZ. If the same req system is back I’d rather just have a BTB on steroids.
I would only support it if they completely change the way you earn REQs. Because I refuse to buy another AAA game that have lootboxes in it.

No. I would rather buy every single map. I have previously worked in the gambling industry and I have seen what it does to people. The thought that children can buy lootboxes with real money and gamble for in-game rewards disgusts me.

if you mean with childeren you mean from a age off 16+ or 16-
if its from age off 16- then it has notting to do with halo since you need to be 16+ to play it.
and if there are 16- playing halo then its not the company problem if there are childeren playing that are to young to play then its the parents from that child problem to buy a game that she/he cant play since that child is to young to play it.
its not like fortnite that is make for all age then you get that childeren buying lootboxen.
maybe a good idea if there was a wold rule for all game’s that if the game has lootboxen then only people that are 16 years and older can play it.
and since halo is for 16 year and older game i like to have lootboxen in the game in trade for free dlc maps.
if you hate lootboxen then stop playing game’s since lootboxen has become standard in all xbox,pc and playstation game’s.
and we all know if there not lootboxen in the game we all gone pay a lot more money for that game we wane play and thats something we all not wane see
