Well to be specific. The current thing we’re testing isn’t a Beta it is a technical preview. It will be available to more players as time goes on in order to “stress test” the system in a real world environment. I’d say that the Beta if we get one will be open to the full list of insiders possibly even an open Beta to anyone. So to answer your question I’d say yes at some point it will be available to everyone.

I’m sure at some point a month before launch they will have an open beta to see how the game runs and to see how everything is going so they can fine tune everything and make sure the game is going to run the way it’s supposed to. There are always bugs and glitches at launch though that slip through. Even then I’m positive they will release updates that fix these things.

Same here lol, but the flight we were testing wasn’t a beta OP, it was a technical preview.

Emphasis on if we get an open beta. Hell Ill take badges for flights too, but I realize they are different.

Badges have become pretty useless at this point - 95% of them have become impossible to get and the remaining 5% are so easy to get, everyone has them within their first hour on WayPoint. It was a great idea, but they let it wither and die it seems.

Pretty sure that 343 said forever ago that there would be a beta. Flights are the only thing we can continue to expect, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see a proper beta fairly close to Infinites launch, just for 343 to do some last minute weapon tuning.

I say no, with how the Insider works and how much it has been used in MCC. I doubt an Open Beta will come. The closest to an Open Beta would be sending an invite to literally everyone signed up for the Insider. They did that for some flights of MCC, so they could easily do it for Infinite too.
