With a lot of anticipation and excitement for Halo Infinite, I have a question that I am very curious to hear from everyone. Will the upcoming Halo Infinite be the final chapter for Master Chief’s story in the Halo Franchise? And, if this is the final chapter, are we going to see an epic final battle in the upcoming sequel especially an Avengers Endgame final battle style?
Well since its no longer a trilogy but a saga i doubt that they’ll end chiefs story in infinite. People were pissed that locke was more playable than chief so removing him entirely could be bad news for halo in general.

No and No.
Nope. Halo Infinite won’t be the final chapter of Master Chief’s story. There will be Halo games focus mainly on Master Chief that’s beyond Halo Infinite.
No, this is not the end of Chief’s story. However, I do suspect he will exit the franchise in the next couple games after Infinite, I think he won’t be the lead and face of the franchise by the end of this decade.
Infinite definitely won’t be the end for him, although I don’t expect him to stay the main character of the franchise much longer without milking it, but as long as we don’t get another lackluster character like Locke, we should be fine.
I highly doubt they would do something so… just wrong, like that. Sure, (in my opinion) they messed up with halo 5, badly. But I don’t believe they’ll mess this up. Only time will tell, but my hopes are fairly high to be honest, I think just the name, Halo: Infinite, would be like the start of an entirely new story, just like how Halo: CE was a new story, just that we already know the previous story with a different antagonist.
Keep your hopes up!
No I don’t think so, but there may be an epic battle at the end of the game. Maybe like a PlanetSide 2 scale battle except with ai?
Infinite-forever ongoing
It would be ironic to END Chiefs story when the title implies the opposite
No, they said they can’t have the reclaimer trilogy hold in 3 games a LONG time ago and expanded and renamed it to the Reclaimer Saga.
It will not end, there might not be actual sequels, but they plan on adding a “DLC” of sorts and they’ll keep expanding his story in infinite, but sadly they again said “no numbered sequels” so that means either Prequels like reach, maybe master chief as a 15 year old, or something around those lines. But don’t expect a sequel or prequel soon. They are planning on using infinite for 10 years
or as a base for the next 10 years of Halo

I wouldn’t mind seeing another Halo prequel video game in future Halo installments. I can see a Halo prequel video game that is based on Halo: Contact Harvest.
