Will Halo die before anti-cheat, battle royal, forge, and new maps?

Will people have the patience to keep this game alivie?

Ranked system sucks
No anti-cheat (and forced crossplay)
Lack of maps
No Battle Royal
No Forge
No Co-op campaign

Obviously 343 takes forever - they can’t even fix big team battle, it has been what like 2 months?

Honestly, 343 needed another year. I really don’t know what they were thinking. I love the gameplay don’t get me wrong but idk if people are just gonna move on to other games before all of the above happens.

Never.
Attrition is already bad enough to deal with.

In time. Just as with MCC which didn’t let players connect online in the original days, Halo Infinite will someday fix their problems.

Once 343 fixes their understaffing issue.

the forge and co-op campaign is something there have told all that its going to take long to add then in the game so thats something not new any more.

battle royal is crap in more way’s.

and the anti cheat is more pointless to implant it now thats something to do on the later stage when there have more time for it.

You can’t compare attrition to a br

Attrition is bad because of how small the maps are.

You could have left it at “attrition is bad”.

I completed the battlepass, and my GF is close too. We are waiting on co-op before playing the campaign (I’m scared it will release and there won’t be crossplay just like MCC. Since she is Series X and I’m PC). But she has been busy past two weeks and missed the cyber showdown event. So I only log on to check the daily and weekly bundles then log off. The game is so repetitive without modes and forge, on top of it, there are so many issues that we’re waiting for new stuff and fixes.
Heck they couldn’t even get the pre-order bonuses right and they have said nothing about that.

There is an option to play without crossplay so I don’t understand all the morons saying it’s “forced” Yes the game sucks but atleast be accurate about it

  • Limited lives
  • Revive system
  • Ultra sweaty lobbies filled with children
  • A danger-zone forces players to smaller areas

Attrition is a Battle Royale. All it needs is air-drops.

  • Attrition is bad because with how limited the lives are, power weapons are still in the match. So a Rocket Launcher or Gravity Hammer lets you get double, triple, or overkills with the press of a single button.
  • You have the AR and Sidekick as starter weapons/respawn weapons so as a result most of the revive balls are clustered in the same area rather than at a distance, meaning the winning team just has to camp and they win. Changing to BR and Commando would rectify this issue and actually make the Commando useful.

And a huge map with a large amount of players.
It’s not a battle royale without those.

That’s probably not helping, but the main problem is the map size since a team can quickly get to the other team’s revive points.
Also, another problem is that you respawn at the revive points.

Hence why it is most often played on Behemoth and why each team has 12 lives. You are playing as 24 separate players. Essentially 6 squads popping in constantly on the fight.

EXACTLY !
Reviving shouldn’t respawn me out in the open or where the enemy is coming. It SHOULD bring me back at a nearby respawn point, out of the way and ready to take a moment to assess and jump in the fray.

I kept getting matches on Recharge.
Also, extra lives don’t count as more players.

Yeah, it’s almost useless as it is right now, unless you’re on a large map, your team died far apart from each other, and the other team doesn’t know where you are.

Either way, I hope we don’t get a Battle Royale game.
It will kill the playerbase.
ESPECIALLY when challenges are tied to it.

I think it would be fine as long as the rest of the game was fixed and finished first.
After all, custom games didn’t kill the playerbase of the other games.

Custom Games are literally just Social Games. Literally just a bunch of friends looking to make some fun, and some Customs became so beloved that they became their own official playlist.

Battle Royales attract more sweats and ultimately has a lot of people asking for weapon sandbox nerfs and buffs that tend to ruin the game.

Shino they will 100% throw challenges forcing people to play it. Just look at how it was with Btb challenges and it was too broken to even play the playlist. I already struggle to touch the game more than once a week because you can’t progress without focusing on challenges instead of trying to enjoy their near empty game.

Attrition is by far the sweatiest game mode I’ve ever played I got to like lv 3 on the event and stopped playing because it was so unenjoyable

I finished the event a week or so ago.

Never touching Attrition again. Even if they make it an official mode.

I’d rather get spawn locked by rockets and grav hammers in Fiesta than play that burning poo filled dumpster fire of a game again

BR mode’s impact on sandbox is arguable. They could easily just add more variants to the existing sandbox, so that way they could design different versions of existing weapons to meet more specific needs/desires of their players.

If Infinite was built from the ground up or if you see a scenario where like 95% of the playerbase is only in a future BR mode then you could definitely see them doing tons of new tuning, but as it stands I can’t imagine them having so much issue.
