Will Halo ce anniversory come with all reach maps and run on the server for multiplayer my reach broke and i would rather buy one game than two please respond because im preordering ce today

Short answer? No, unfortunately.

CEA will only ship with the 7 maps, Prison, Damnation, Headlong, Beaver Creek, Hang em High, Timberland, and the FF map Installation 04. If you were hoping to play any Halo Reach maps other than those, you would either need to have Reach installed on your hard drive(I believe they said that’d work), or you would need to go buy another copy. Sorry buddy.

Installing a game to your hard drive does not allow you play the game without the disc. Installing Reach will not give you access to the Reach default maps in Halo CEA.

However, CEA will come with a voucher to download the new maps like any other map pack, and you’ll be able to play the new maps from Reach.

Huh… I coulda swore that’s how it worked… Not saying you’re wrong or anything, as a matter of fact I’d prefer it if they just use a code like that. I just thought that installing Reach to your HDD was one way to play all Reach maps without swapping discs… Oh well, I guess I was wrong. Lol.

EDIT: If you could also post a link where you read there would be a code, that would be greatly appreciated. :slight_smile:

It would be nice if installing disc worked that way, but they don’t. They system was created to reduce loading times for game, but you still need a disc in the tray.

Here’s the article where I read about the voucher. Considering they were right about CEA in general, I’d say they’re probably right about this.

The only way to have the Halo Reach maps, and the Halo CE maps in one place, is to use the Download Voucher in your Halo Anniversary case to Download the Anniversary maps to your harddrive for use with your Halo Reach disk. I know it’s unfortunate.
