Will Halo: CE Anniversary have ONLY Reach multiplayer?

I can’t believe this hasn’t been laid out more clearly…

To my knowledge, Halo: CE Anniversary will include 7 maps that use the Halo Reach multiplayer engine for Xbox Live play.

My question, which at this point I think is an unfortunate “no”, is whether or not we’ll be able to to play the original Halo: CE multiplayer offline. 343’s initial explanation was that they weren’t going to build classic Halo: CE multiplayer for Xbox Live play because it wouldn’t work or feel as it should because it was never designed for WAN play. But they never explicitly said whether or not you’d be able to play the classic multiplayer locally.

The entire multiplayer is REACH. The settings are changed to Combat Evolved.

Also the original maps work fine in mp it’s called Halo CE PC/Mac

The multiplayer will only be via the Reach lobby or customs and it will only be those new maps.

However, those maps actually come in two flavors. Each map has a version designed for no AA’s and one tweaked for use with AA’s.
