Will Halo Anniversary Include the full Reach multiplayer experience?

Hey folks, I’ve been looking for an answer to this question, but to my knowledge, 343 has not explained it very well.

Will Halo: CE Anniversary include the full Reach multiplayer experience (in the same way that ODST included the full Halo 3 multiplayer experience), or will it simply include 7 maps that will be loaded onto the HDD and function just like DLC content?

I was just about to create a post about this because I’m wondering the same thing, my assumption is that it will have all the maps similar to when ODST came out. But I haven’t heard anything to confirm this.

I do believe that Anniversary contains only the 7 new maps.

I don’t think so, since the Noble and Defiant DLC won’t come with CEA, so I’m guessing the rest won’t either. I’m guessing it’ll contain an XBL code for the maps.

It only contains the new maps, you can play the DLC maps too if you have bought those. You can also install Reach to your hard drive and then you will have access to all of the base maps while on Anniversary.

None of those actually.

The disc contains Campaign and 7 Multiplayer maps, which you can use them on certain playlist’s that are Anniversary maps only. But, you can install in your HDD Halo: Reach and get the full experience on the anniversary disc

This.

As far as I know the only way to play all the maps from one game before the Anni maps become a separate DLC in the future is to use an option in Anniversary that installs the seven maps as a map pack to your hard drive to play from Reach. I’ve not heard of being able to play the Defiant and Noble map packs from within Anniversary before, but that makes sense.

Because that’s totally not exactly what I said.

I was thinking the same.

Though I thought it was a case of using a redeemable code, which came with Anniversary, in order to add the 7 new maps to Reach. As has been said, only the 7 remakes will appear on Anniversary’s disc.

It will only include the 7 anniversary maps.

You can play the 7 maps straight from the Anniversary disc. If you play on the Anniversary disc you will be playing only TU Anniversary multiplayer. You can download the 7 maps to your hard drive and play it from the Reach disc that way you don’t have to keep swaping discs.

Both actually.
