Will Halo 6 release only on xbox scorpio

I was just wondering if halo 6 was gonna only release on Xbox Scorpio because I don’t really want to buy another Xbox just for halo 6

Idk, but I’m pretty sure it’ll be for all Xbox’s if Anything Scorpio might give it an extra boost thats all.

They did say Scorpio games would be playable on Xbox One.

If they do that it’s like making HALO 3 only for the Xbox 360.

Halo 6 will probably be on both Console’s Xbox One and Xbox Scorpio they might even make an Xbox Scorpio halo 6 bundle like they did with halo 5 when it first came out to the Xbox One.

With Xbox One S being relatively new, and Phil Spencer saying it will be the ‘console for most Xbox fans’, I would say there’s roughly a 99.72% chance Halo 6 will come out on it.

I’ve heard that the Xbox one Scorpio is just an upgraded version of the original Xbox one, Microsoft is going in the direction of upgraded consoles, no new consoles. The game will still run on the original Xbox one, but it will likely be better suited for the Scorpio.

The scorpio is still just an xbox and they are not making games just for the scorpio. The disc (if you still do hard copies) for halo 6 that you get is going to be the same as the regular xbox disc. The scorpio isn’t a new system its just the PS4 pro of microsoft.

Theoretically per what Microsoft has said thus far, no, that won’t happen, Scorpio is not supposed to have any exclusives. All Scorpio games will play on OG Xbox One.

That said, my concern is whether or not certain features might be withheld just to strongarm you into upgrading; i.e. Halo 6 releases on both, but oh wait, you wanted to play matchmaking? You can only play campaign on XB1, you need Scorpio to play matchmaking. Something like that. That’s a very extreme example, probably reductio ad absurdum, but nevertheless I fear for that, because they haven’t directly denied that’s a possibility.

Heard it’ll be the strongest gaming console ever and most powerful. I haven’t gotten the One S yet because I’ll just most likely get the Scorpio.

I don’t think it will be exclusive especially seeing as the X-one can run Halo 5 currently at 60 fps , and the resolution disparity between One and Scorpio seems to be the reason most of the conversation about exclusives is coming up at the moment.
Think about it like this…I know when Halo 5 launched it used a system that scaled resolution relative to the scenery (scenery that was up close got more resolution than scenery that was further away). The Scorpio will run Halo 5 at 60fps , with no resolution scaling for distance ; I.E. Halo 6 will look great all the time , not just when you are close to something. (The inclusion of split screen may mean that this system remains in place , to reduce stress on the cpu and gpu).

It’s going to be available for both one and Scorpio but Scorpio’s version is going to be superior I think

Most likely, it will be on both, but don’t base this on what Microsoft has said.
Currently, they claim there won’t be exclusives, but they have already back-tracked on other things like FPS lock.
They lied on purpose so that people would keep buying Xbox One S’s until Scorpio is ready, rather than hold off for a single big purchase.

90% No, Phil Spencer has said that he wants to change things going forward so that every system is backwards compatible so that your games will travel with your system as you get a new (he compares it to cell phone apps, movies, and music). I think going forward every 3 or 4 refreshes may leave a game behind, so my guess is every Scorpio game will play on XOne, but then maybe the next step in Xbox or the one after will leave the XOne behind.

I’m 99.9% certain it will be available on both… it wouldn’t make any sort of financial sense if it didn’t. H6 Scorpio will just be the optimum version of the game…

it has been rumored but not sure if stated that no xbox scorpio games will be unnavailable on the xbox one, due to the nature of the scorpio’s jump up to virtual reality gaming. the scorpio’s specs from what i have heard will only be slightly better than xbox one in terms of built in 4k resolution, and said virtual reality compatability.

The Xbox Scorpio is just a Xbox one just better. Any game that is on the Xbox Scorpio will be on the Xbox One. You don’t need it to play any new game its just runs the game better such as a better FPS.

I’m pretty sure 343 won’t be as stupid. I mean they almost killed the game by taking away split screen I don’t think they will make a similar move by having it only on the new Scorpio.

I hope not because im not gonna buy a new xbox one
