I’m hoping they do away with reqs and add a proper big team battle! Also something needs to be done about WZFF. The enemies take way too long to kill and their aim is perfect.
I hope Halo 6 won’t be next year. We don’t want them pumping out games like Assassin’s Creed and Call of Duty. Hopefully the campaign is better with both the flood and brutes returning. Also, I pray every night that the art style would return to the Halo Reach style; a lot more gritty and not like plastic. Plus, I hope Chief doesn’t die and we get to play as him for most of the campaign. No more reqs either.
If Halo 6 came out next year, it would undoubtedly be a disaster. Halo 5 has showed us that, even with a 3-year development cycle, a game can release and still be far from finished. If Halo 6 only had two years… I dread to see what it wold be like.
It won’t be until 2018 at the earliest.

They could work around that by building it in the Halo 5 engine. That way they could reuse Halo 5 assets and speed up production. Halo ODST was built that way. Not saying they should just that they could theoretically.

They could, of course, and then it would feel extremely lazy. But again, despite using Halo 5’s assets (which I’m sure they will for many things), 2 years isn’t long enough to create a good story and a game filled with features.

Exactly! No doubt E3 2017 we’ll see our first teaser trailer for Halo 6 but it’ll be Q3 or Q4 of 2018 before actually see an official release. IF, again IF, 343 is working on another Halo title besides Halo Wars 2, it might be 2019 before we see Halo 6.
Halo 6 should released in 2019/2020
Why?
Because they need too long to make content (or they don`t want to release so much content on the release) and should take one or two years more.
All in all I`m really bored of 343 trying making Halo a competetive shooter - should be a shooter, when friends come to me and playing co-op and have fun in a four spartan party…
depends on the tech
I hope it’s not next year. The REQ system is alright it doesn’t bother me.
