im not posting this to troll or be mean. I’m just very worried. Halo is my favorite video game franchise and I don’t want it to crash. The game looks so good and I’m so excited. Please reply, somebody who may know that it won’t go bad.

safe to assume there will be some difficulties when the masses log on in such a short time frame.

As much as i am hoping not, better to prepare for the worst unfortunately
they could do, but I think 343 will sort them out quickly
I’m personally waiting to purchase until after launch day to see how the servers react.
However, if you watched streams before MCC launch, you’ll remember that the people who had pre-release copies were unable to get matches. Watching streamers with pre-release copies today shows that matchmaking is working for the small group - hopefully that stays true for tomorrow and then we are good to go!
…or…it’ll bring down xbox live for a few days 
Im concerned the halo 5 servers will be unable to cope with the 100,000’s of players that will overwhelm the server within next coming days weeks and months. Would be a damn shame considering the amount of hype surrounding the game and all the excited fans and players. I wonder if Microsoft and 343 can give any guarantees surrounding this concern I’m sure many gamers have.

It’s hard to think of a major release lately that hasn’t had server issues on day 1. I’d wager that they’ll have their fair share of problems when the game comes out. The real question is how fast they’ll recover.

I think the only games I’ve played that haven’t had any real server issuses on release tended to have been Blizzard games. And never console games. That being said, due to the issues of MCC, my guess server stability will probably be a high on 343’s priority list.

The servers won’t let me in 
After waiting for the 50 something GB plus the 9 needed for multiplayer, halo seems to be running smoothly. I did lag for a couple of games but I was able to have fun. The servers are definitely better than last year with MCC.
already there have been DCs and lag spikes.
I’ve had an hour and a half of playing time on Halo 5 matchmaking so far, and have a few hours on Co-Op campaign, and I haven’t experienced any lag whats so ever. I also feel like this Halo is a breath of fresh air in the franchise, and I’ve played every Halo and read many of the books and this has got to be one of my most favorite Halo’s to date.
