Will halo 5 survive the coming hurricane

in the next 3 months games like far cry primal, the division, quantom break, doom are coming out. Will halo 5 population stay or will it drop? I don’t want it to be a ghost town.

It will drop as it does with every big game title, as we have those “gamers” that jump on every game that is hyped. A lot of players will stay though, Halo 5 will be fine.

Hurricane? I am not interested in any of those games. Maybe slightly in Doom but odds are I won’t buy it.

Cowering in the dirt, thinking… what, I wonder? That you might escape the coming fire?

It had way tougher competition in last year’s holiday season. It’ll be fine with these upcoming titles, especially since Ubisoft still hasn’t fully regained the trust of their fans.

Quantom break is a must it looks fantastic

Ill be playing every big game that releases

Ill still be playing Halo though due to regular content drops and how much i love the multiplayer…I don’t see why these are a problem people can play multiple games

Right now I’m feeling the Street Fighter 5 hype

Hopefully I can finish FC Primal too before the February update for Halo 5

I’m skipping PvZ GW2

That’s true there is no problem playing multiple games at all. It’s just with a job and kids and wife and everyone’s responsibilities it’s hard to make time for all those. So in your down time you have to kind of limit what your going to play. But hey if you have all the time to play all of them then power on man I hope you enjoy.

It already has dropped alot. Even myself, a big long time halo fan only plays Halo 5 right now maybe two or three days a week, I spend alot of time on MCC. For me I wont play Halo 5 alot until June or so when more content is added, right now I’m just not satisfied with it much, I’m tired of playing the same four Warzone maps over and over again.

I think Doom is the only MP game that could take me away from Halo in the foreseeable future, specially if 343 doesn’t play its cards right in the next monthly updates.

I disagree… I want to like this game, but every gameplay video I’ve seen looks mindless and terribly unfun.
I hope that’s not the case in the final release… but blah.

Oh look another gamer with the melodramatics “ohhhhh a coming hurricane”

i mean we all know gamers can’t own and play more than one game.

oh wait…

It actually hasn’t. But of course if you don’t play a lot that means no one does.

the rhetoric gets old.

You say that like you can’t have responsibilities and also play 20 hours of games a week

That’s a little over 2 hours a day which is what a lot of people spend watching their favorite TV shows or movies nightly

You can beat a game a week unless its a long game like Witcher 3 or Fallout in that amount of time and still handle responsibilities…

well doom is a 13 hr campaign so after that I will hop between the division and halo. Im sure the pop will be fine

I’ve no love for Ubisoft or the Far Cry franchise. The Division looks like a tedious borefest. I’ll give a crap about Quantum Break when it finally releases. And Doom is just… Doom. Nah, I’m not gonna jump ship other than to play the Metro games again.

I’ll continue playing a few hours a day. I have a few games I’m waiting to play but for now, I’m just working on Halo and Achilles armor. When Quantum Break comes out, I’ll probably move to that for a bit a day as well.

Can’t wait for DOOM. Seriously, I’m going to buy it for PC so that I can chainsaw-kill Pinky Demons in 1440p@60FPS at high settings. Good news for the console peasants (joking about that), DOOM will be 1080p@60FPS for XB1 and PS4. That is a pretty good deal for console gamers.

I hate Far Cry games because they just feel like im doing chores and stupid little side missions. The division just looks like its trying too hard to be cool that it probably won’t be fun. Quantom Break is hardly a game lol its pretty much a movie, so I dont have any interest in that either. As for Doom, well…its Doom.

I will surely be sticking with Halo 5. Thats just my opinion obviously

None of those are going to appeal to me, and if anything, 343i will probably do some big update to counter and help prevent the loss of players.
