It’s been over a year now since Halo 5 Forge on pc released and yet it still has no unlocked framerate, FOV slider and very limited graphics options , do you think 343 will ever fix it ? Should they fix it or outsource it to another studio to fix preferably a studio that has experience in porting and developing pc games?
P.S. Should it be ported to Steam? I feel like starting a petition to get it fixed
Nothing wrong with FOV, framrate could be unlocked i guess but 60 isnt bad. As far as going to steam or anything along those lines, not going to happen.
PC players love playing on insane FOV to where its almost a fish eye view so they can see more than everyone else.

No they aren’t going to fix it. It launched with the same mechanics that are broken in the console version (those mechanics are still broken by the way, so they’d have to fix console H5 first), continued to get butchered by the updates thus adding more glitches and issues, and nobody plays it. It’s certain now if it wasn’t before that the game was dead on arrival
That’s a shame, because it’s an amazing free game (when it wants to work which is just about never).

Unfortunately, they’re not. However, for the FOV slider, I can say something.
Download Exuberant Mod Tool. It allows you to change FOV, armor and emblems, and even the HUD, as well as to allow you to play in 3rd person and play assassination in 1st person (your Spartan’s view).
Just be aware that these changes are not permanent and don’t unlock or affect anything. It’s purely to allow customization without manipulating the system.

I’ve used exuberant however it only seems to work when it supports the latest build of the app if it doesn’t its practically useless and the fact that it takes forever for it to be updated

You’re right there isn’t anything wrong with the fov except for the fact that there is literally no fov slider for those who prefer to run at higher fields of view

Exuberant is a tool made by a modder/Forger, Gamecheat13. He has to manually update the tool every time the game gets updated. I’ve reported to him several requests to update the app. He’ll put a newer version out as soon as he has some time, I’m sure. He’s busy with other Halo related projects at the moment.
