Will halo 5 ever go cloud powered?

Cloud powered can increase a games performance exponentially. Halo 5 could gain much more potential in customs, and forge with cloud powered features. This could also finally allow for split screen play (Spit screen play on halo 5 causes crashes for using too much memory/RAM) What do you guys think of this suggestion?

Note: This is not a Splitscreen thread. This thread is about cloud powered features that could give more things potential at a later date through updates.

One word: Warzone

I think it could potentially come to the game, and it would definitely benefit from it. Usually though the games are completely built around the cloud like the new crackdown is.

If and when games become split one campaign less features for internetless people and one that is online and with more features. The backlash against online has hindered game development. I’m looking towards Crackdown 3 to see what happens. I do believe campaign’s could be improved but not with all the disdain for online only

Warzone uses the cloud people

Exactly! So if warzone does, why can’t anything else? Halo’s got potential.

Because it costs money to implant. And adding splitscreen means less Xbone sales.

cloud … no. just no. I rather not depend on the internet to have a game. it is fine if the cloud is used for multiplayer stuff where you’re already online for… but single player , no keep cloud well away from single player stuff.

well, I suppose it is quite clear that you will never be playing crackdown, at least not in offline/single player.

And don’t get me wrong, I get your point, it is just clear to me that cloud powering games gives them more potential, and less lag.

True, but it would get more people to buy the game for that functionality, which will outweigh those who are willing to buy a second Xbox one, a second TV, a second copy of halo 5, and a second gold membership by a landslide. After all, that is several hundred dollars I, and most other people are not willing to pay.
