Clans are nice because they’re almost like a Halo specific friends list. The friends limit is a bit ridiculous, especially for a paid service, and the clan feature is a decent workaround.

I really hope that they bring it back in this trilogy. It is also one of the reason why I loved Halo 2 so much. It also added a different aspect to matchmaking called teamwork. Not a lot of people play with said teamwork these days and clan’s would definitely bring that back. Also I want to hear some call of duty kid say, “OmGg THY TooK ThAt FrUm COD. ByTarz!!” Because Clans have been around way before call of duty.

SideNote: Maybe thats why they havent released any info on the ranks because clans might be involved.

I think 343 should put the clan feature as a most have in the game and the reason is simple fun factor.For 343 attract more player 343 will have to give more ways to interact with other for example if the integrated the clan this will give to the game a sense of teamwork and the competitive side in the clan vs clan. This is fun I have myself a clan in call of duty the name of the clan is The truth brotherhood (TBH.) and I will be happy to have the same clan in halo4

What Exactly is this clan thing anyway, I never played H2 online. Will it show people who aren’t technically in a clan? I have a group of friends I play halo with all the time but we aren’t a de facto “clan” (meaning all our names are different, we have different emblems etc).

for example in call of duty I have a clan and the name is The Truth Brotherhood all my clan member have in there names a tag there is a clan tag the tag is TBH. in my name for example will look lake this (TBH.)HeavensLion

It almost has to if it wants to compete with other games recently. Many games like battlefield and cod have the pay extra money for clan support and web support for groups ect.

I would love to pay an extra $50 for clan support and leveling and the sort, kinda like how cod has premium members. Of course it should allow me to download all future DLC for free for a year and other benefits but it seems that microsoft would make loads of cash and I would be happy to throw my money at anything Halo lol

At a presentation there was a slide on the powerpoint that talked about “groups”. I banking on those being the equivalent of clans.

I so that document to and was very interesting. In best buy they have a advertising and say clan to but is not expecific and if you go to Xbox.com will say it but agen to expecification. Hopefully will have it because I will be happy to see my clan on halo4 (TBH.)
