So it kinda sucks that now different places have special preorder bonuses. How will you get all the skins?
Not sure if this means anything but when you try to preorder at the Microsoft store, it shows that the special Pre order bonus skin is $15.00 but then there’s a line through the price.
Is this going to be like Capcom with the street fighter series? Tons of customizable skins that we all have to pay for? These should all be included in the game. Or let us purchase them with “spartan points”.
I think it should be like the limited edition. Getting these Pre order bonuses gives you access to these skins before everyone else (just like specializations) but eventually everyone can get them.

There’s a fair chance that these Pre-order Exclusives may be attainable in the game, and they’re just early unlocks…
And don’t give me the stupid, empty, generic “BUT THEN THEY WOULDN’T BE EXCLUSIVEZ” argument, because all “Exclusive” entails is that you can only get it through pre-ordering, by pre-ordering from that particular retailer, not that it’s unattainable through other means later on…
Then again, they may not be attainable through the game’s normal progressions, and Microsoft get to make that little bit more money by making it DLC…
Hell, they could even do what was done with Gears of War 3 and bundle them with future DLC, in which case, people who get the Limited Edition would technically already have these as they get three future Map Packs paid for immediately…
That ofcourse is assuming they even do that either, hell, they may actually be one of the few pre-order exclusives to remain attainable through pre-ordering alone…
I don’t play GoW, but I hear people say you can purchase skins in marketplace. I know that Mortal Kombat had exclusive character models at different stores, but now can be downloaded in marketplace. I don’t think these Halo 4 skins are as exclusive as you think.

The main point is to attract consumers to retail stores so they can get a good idea of how many people are looking to buy at a particular store from now all the way up until launch. After that it’s fair game for whatever purpose whether it’s already integrated as a late-game progression item, sold as DLC, or just outright forgotten. If there’s enough demand it would surely fall into the former two options.

Yeah seriously it would suck to have to preorder the game, which is spending like $300 i think on all those Halo 4s, at all those stores just to get every item(i would do it if i since i am a hardcore fan BUT i don’t have the money this year for that many Halo 4’s)
