Someone told me there wouldn’t be MLG in Halo 4. Does anyone know if it’s true?
Halo 4 will have a MLG play list. Dont count on it being there right away as it often appears a month or two after the game has shipped.
It all depends on if Halo 4 is going to be on the professional circuit. Since the came has not been released yet, we cannot know at this point in time.

I was kind of under the assumption they would have a playlist immediately since MLG.tv has footage of Halo pros from E3 and there has been a lot of hype about how “Halo is Back”

There are no settings or maps at this time. The MLG playlist at launch would have been just 4v4 Slayer and Objective. They probably won’t for some time after launch.
Probably not at launch, as they’ll inevitably hate default settings and will need time to customize their gametypes and maps.
The guys at MLG will need a month or two to work out well balanced starting settings for the playlist. However, It most likely will be there eventually.
I think they would be trolling the MLG community if they don’t have an MLG playlist considering they went to them and let them play both before and at E3.
