Will Halo 4 have 3d support?

I was just wondering as Halo CEA does and even though not that many people own 3d displays it would be a nice addition. It might just be me but CEA looked awesome in 3d on my PSD. On a side note I am just wondering if campaign disc will not the multilayer one as of right now I am not sure that it would work well for the multiplayer in 3d.

There is a reason. People enjoy 3d. I just don’t think the game engine supports it.

Nope, 3D is never going to be big, not even movies can sell good on 3D gimmics these days, 3D was cool at first, but is generally so bad people prefer not to have it. It’s a gimmic that lets you sell dated hardware at high prices (see Wii) untill the new technology is ready (aka OLED/4k/VR).
Low resolution + bad framerate + glasses + headache + 3D = fail imo.
If you want to play 3D, get a good Pc that can handle it and good hardware, it’s the only shot you got at a somewhat good 3D experience, still the technology used is very limited but you get what you pay for.
I would suggest you check VR, especially the Kickstarter for Oculus Rift, supported by Valve, Epic and other big names, even Carmack himself think it looks good (if you don’t know who he is, google it). There sir, you got a device that adds a function, more then a gimmic, and does not make the games worse when using it, on the contrary. VR might finally be possible for gamers, and it can be so great…

Nope, Halo 4 is gimmic free.
No Kinect, no 3D, no extras. Could also be due to budget cuts and shortened dev time, or just Ms didn’t feel like spending millions on things that wouldn’t increase sales or even affect many gamers. Your guess is as good as mine.

I own many 3d displays (TV, projector, hmd) as well as the PCs required to power them. You sound as if the only 3d you have ever experienced is magic eye. Why not try it before bashing it?

I would love Halo 4’s campaign to be in 3D! But unfortunately, it will not be.
