Will Halo 4 get more DLC?

If there is a Halo 2 Anniversary in the works do you guys think the multiplayer would be through Halo 4? Thus giving 4 more DLC. Like they did with Anniversary and Reach?

I’m pretty sure Halo 4 won’t get more DLC, if a Halo 2 anniv were released it would most likely be an Xbox one exclusive regardless if it has multiplayer or not.

At this point, Halo 4 won’t be getting any more DLC. It isn’t worth the time or effort to invest money into Halo 4 when so little people still play it.

If Halo 2: Anniversary is this years Halo, then I doubt it will run on Halo 4’s engine. It will flop… hard.

I hope that whatever Halo 2014 ends up being (seems like H2A or remake of H1-4) comes with new MM.

I really doubt there will be anymore DLC.

I think the only “DLC” Halo 4 will get is the BR Blast and DMR Concrete skins (I use quotation marks since they were in the last update for the Champions bundle and technically everybody already has them, just not unlocked to use).

If you look at images of the Halo 2 Master Chief and Cloaked Master Chief McFarlane figure unveiled at this years Toy Fair, you can clearly see that the cards state “contains unlockable content code” and a release date of July 2014.

This is probably the most plausible theory.

There will be no more DLC for a dead game. If they for some reason made H2A with Halo 4 multiplayer there will be riots in Kirkland. I have my torch and pitch fork ready although I don’t think I’ll need them.

The unlockable content mentioned above could simply be stuff for your Xbox Live avatar or unlockable items for the next game release. wink H2A/Master Chief collection wink

I was wondering when they’d make more figures. It always brings out the ten-year-old in me every time I see some cool, new sci-fi action figure.

Its too much of a coincidence that there are still 2 unusable weapon skins in Halo 4 and only 2 new Halo toys being released that come with DLC codes. What I said is the most plausible theory.

If the point I highlighted was true, then why release the toys and code for the game in July, when the H2A game (if its even going to happen since theres still no official word) would most likely be released in November on its actual anniversary? It makes no sense to release content (that will essentially be unusable) for a game months before its even released.

My thoughts are if Halo 4 is to be ported to the One maybe H2A will run on Halo 4 engine and the maps will be playable on Halo 4. Just a thought much like HCEA maps are playable on Reach.

To be honest, I think that could work, as long as everything didn’t look like Halo 4 (meaning no Covenant Storm, and none of the Chief’s “upgraded” armor), and if it included the AR in addition to the previous arsenal. And yes, the AR would fit; it existed in ODST, which was around the same time period as Halo 2. And you cannot tell me the Marine Corps suddenly just don’t have MA5s.

That isn’t what people want though. Nobody wants Halo 4 to just mimic Halo 2’s multiplayer, nobody wants an Assault Rifle in the game with the excuse that it makes sense because ODST takes place around the time of Halo 2.

People want a HD Campaign and HD Multiplayer, on the original Halo 2 engine.

I didn’t say that’s what I wanted. I just said that if they wanted to use a newer engine, that would be the best way to make it work. I could see it work with Reach’s, too. But of course I would prefer the original. Part of what made CEA so great was how closely it played to the original.
