Not sure if this means much anymore but this comes from an old halo player who was there from the very start of halo on Xbox live.
Anyway I normally don’t speak out, and I normally don’t even look at the forums, here or when it was hosted at b.net, I had to find some old second account to use sorry.
I’ve watched now for a couple of years now as halo has been basically run by the kind of people who used to play mosh pit and action sack on halo 2. Halo has been completly changed to point where i have no idea if anyone from the old days still play? Back in halo 3 and 3 to an extent, there were ranked playlists which were the meat of the game, then there was a couple of joke playlists for guests and that was that.
Now i come online and there is no ranked, just social, no team doubles, no team snipers, no team objective, 4 maps in team slayer. I come to the forums and i see people berating others for demanding ranked, dribbling over the thought of playing grifball. What has happned?
a lot of people i speak to on cod or other games have left halo because it’s changed, these people started on halo, these people are the hardcore which were shunned for grifball fanatics, these peopel even bought halo 4 purely on goodwill from halo 2 and 3, yet none of them will play it. this game is not halo, why is the bolt shot a starting weapon? why are there no small 4v4/2v2 maps?
why is promethian vision even in the game?
I hope things will change but then i see a playlist update which brings in team regicide and no team doubles.
Goodwill can only last you so long.
