Right now, Halo 4 is barely beating CoD BO2 in pre-sale orders. But on launch day, do you think that CoD could pass Halo 4? USA Preorders
Also on YouTube I have noticed video ads for both Halo 4 and CoD BO2, and the views for CoD is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than Halo 4, which concerns me a bit. Picture
I really wouldn’t be surprised if CoD beat Halo 4 in overall sales, due to how successful CoD has been in the past. I do really hope that Halo 4 will win, but only time will tell…
Call of Duty will win, we all know it. In a way this is another variant of Quality over Quantity. Sure there will be more Call of Duty pre-orders but in the end, those who pre-ordered Halo 4 are going to make a better community
Here’s the thing I could careless about who sold more copies. It’s whos community that sticks around and which population is larger is what really matters
Why are you so worried? They’re both going to sell really well. Having your favorite “win” doesn’t really make a difference in the long run. They’ll both make a lot of money and both will spawn sequels.
I agree that it’s not a big deal, but I do hope more people stick around with Halo 4. Unfortunately Halo: Reach didn’t succeed in that very well. Considering Halo 4 is the “most anticipated game of the year”, I think there is a good chance that there will be more players than Reach.
Obviously Halo 4 will be a better quality game overall. And that’s a big deal.
This is just my opinion, gained from dominating CoD players in Halo time and time again. CoD will always outsell Halo. Why? Because it’s easy, it doesn’t take any real skill to be “good” at it, it’s for, dare I say it? Casuals.
> > As for the video the second one is a random unofficial video. Tons of Halo 4 videos have millions of views.

> Are you sure? I’m pretty sure it says it’s by xbox. Although I do know that many unofficial Halo 4 videos have many views, which is good.
I don’t think Microsoft owns the account, but what do I know. These videos have quite a number a views though.

You are probably right. I wonder though if some of the new features, similar to CoD, will attract CoD players? I know that was one of 343i’s ideas, to attract a new wave of players.

Why would COD players want something imitating COD, when they can have COD? Also, why would the players who didnt like Reach come back for Halo 4?
Also, the stuff that Black Ops 2 showed off this week was great, and probably earned my money.
