I don’t see it happening. 343I is going to become somewhat of an industry laughing stock if all they do is remake another developer’s work, plus people are wary to trust them after MCC.

They might somehow do it as an addition to the MCC, but i highly doubt it. Would be a shame tho since its the last game in the original trilogy.

well they would only be a laughing stock if remakes were all they made. I personally dont want a remake. Ive played halo 3 so many times Im no longer interested in an anniversary addition. Sure a graphic upgrade would be nice (cause holy crap when you look at it halo 3 graphics looked like mud) but Im not going to buy a game just for graphics. The nostalgia feeling just wont be there for me, and thats the feeling that sells anniversary games.

I would assume that it would happen to some extent.

I would give 343 the benefit of the doubt that they’d be able to do it. But the thing is: I don’t want a remaster. The market doesn’t want a remaster. I and the market want something new and invigorating, something to blow our minds away to the Precursors.

And they failed at it sadly. They had the opportunity to make MCC amazing, but it became the biggest video game fail in the industry.

I hate to say it, but these things make this nearly impossible:
The launch of the MCC: The launch of the MCC makes many, including me, wary of future updates. Also, on their part, it was a mistake to make this a “MCC” and not just H2 Anniversary, H1 Anniversary was great, except the multiplayer (FFS, you could of allowed the multiplayer) and I did enjoy it, including the H3 was a mistake since now, it is already on the X1. What are they going to do, change the graphics and cutscenes? It will not work
