Will H4 be the last Halo game until H5?

For the past 3 years we’ve had a new Halo game, whether it was a side game, main game, or a remake there has been a new Halo game. I was wondering if you guys think that Halo 4 will be the last Halo game they make until Halo 5 or do you think they’ll release a Halo 2 anniversary or a side game like Halo 3: ODST. What do you guys think and what do you guys want 343 to do? Thanks!

Halo has been a yearly franchise since 2007 so almost certainly we will get a halo game next year

Especially since microsoft will want a halo launch title for the next xbox

I feel like they will go straight to Halo 5. They have so much they can do to the new trilogy. So to pop something out that is like the sessions from Halo 1 to Halo 2 to Halo 3 will be what’ll see.

Halo 4 is not over. It continues weakly, and they have a lot planned up so far. Because of this, I don’t think we will see another halo game before 5.

Only if the next Xbox comes out next year. Microsoft would be crazy to not have a Halo game be released as a launch title for the next xbox.

Probably Halo 2 Anniversary.

Though since Halo 4 pushes the Xbox to it’s limits, maybe 343i will reuse the Halo 4 engine to make Halo 5 next year.

Is a Halo 2 anniversary something that people would want? If the inclusion of MM was part of the deal I would be down for some nostalgia. However, if its just like CE remake then I’d rather not buy…thoughts?

Call me old fashioned, but I’d rather wait 3 years for the next Halo game. Give me quality over quantity any day.

I agree with the quality over quantity argument with regards to halo. It was something that made bungie so fan friendly, they took pride in their work even after release.

I agree with the waiting for 3 years for great quality, but at the same time I REALLY want a Halo 2 Anniversary because you have buy it for the original xbox to be able play it on the 360. I’m kinda 50 50 on this one
