I was just wondering, do you guys think playing Halo 3 again will help you prepare for Halo 4? I was thinking it would because of the BR in Halo 3, and no bloom and all the fun, original stuff about Halo. Lemme know what you guys think
Halo 3 is closer to Halo 4 than Reach so yes probably.
Only the campaign part, no need to play the multiplayer to be refreshed since H4 multiplayer is completely different.
For the campaign part of H4, I will definately play the H3 campaign before it.
For the multiplayer, I’ll probably play some Reach-multi to get me revved up.
I think so that’s what I’ve been doing sense I don’t have Xbox live. I’ve been playing Halo 3 Campaign on legendary alone that will help you get ready for halo 4 but no need to play the matchmaking because Halo 4 will release a whole new style of matchmaking
I’ll definitely play through the campaign again.
In terms of story yes since Halo 4 is the return of the Master Chief and the direct sequel.
In terms of multiplayer, I don’t think so. Halo 3 does have the DMR which Reach does not, but Reach does have the latest multiplayer variants, weapons and of course the armor abilities.
So I think Reach would be your best bet for help in terms of overall gameplay as well.
