With the Halo Master Chief Collection having a huge success on Steam, could we see Xbox and Microsoft planning to release Gears of Wars 1 on Steam?
I do not think so for a few reasons. Gears of War 1 (Ultimate Edition) is already on Game Pass for PC/Xbox and it wouldn’t make sense to sell the same game on two different stores. And Most importantly Microsoft/Xbox want people to play on Game Pass and since Gears 1 is on it, Highly unlikely. I do wish for a Steam release, since I play all my games through Steam. Gears of War is one of my favourite games of all time, I was a huge fan of the Ultimate Edition but it has died down in popularity significantly since Gears 5 released.
