Will Forge Tie Into The UNSC Infinity?

As most of us may know, all parts of Halo 4 will tie in with the UNSC Infinity. But I don’t recall any mention of Forge having anything to do with the Infinity experience. I believe it would make sense to give players the opportunity to create their own ‘simulated environments’ for fellow Infinity crew mates to train in prior to the real deal(Spartan Ops).

It’s the one thing that doesn’t have to in my opinion. But like you said, maybe you’re the guy who designs simulated areas for training.

I hope not. Canonizing everything sometimes doesn’t work in our favor, kinda like how we cannot use Elites in Halo 4. It wouldn’t make sense if the MP is on the Infinity

That would be really awesome, imo.

Yeah, it’s most likely the guy who designs the simulation maps.

I wouldn’t really care if it did, but the designing simulated environments idea does make sense.

Wait, is all of the multiplayer canon, or just War Games? Or is everything War Games? I thought there were separate parts of multiplayer.

You’re probably the person who programmes the simulation environment in the ‘holodeck’.

if it was part of the Infinity, we would be Engineers, not Monitors. so, I say no, it isn’t.

War Games: Simulated environments where Spartan IVs train in preparation for real missions in Spartan Ops(The Co-Op section of Halo Infinity). Spartan Ops directly ties in with the game’s campaign.

Why would we be engineers? Thats part of the covenant… or whats left of them. Its a simulation and humans know about forerunner tech at this point in time as well as monitors. I would make sense to be a monitor.

I don’t think forge and custom games need to be a part of the Infinity. I can see how it can, I just personally feel that it isn’t necessary.

It is not necessary for matchmaking either, it’d be the exact same as custom games.

If matchmaking is part of the story, I don’t see why they would leave out forge and custom games as part of the story, then it just seems like there’s no point in having a story attached to the multiplayer matchmaking.

Make the official simulation maker Vic from Red vs Blue and I’m sold.

"Okay dudes I’m going to make you a map alrighty? Just take a chill pill dudes, or take a chill strip, put it on your tongue, chill.

That would be an awesome Eater egg. They could maybe show the inside of the Infinity at one point, and you can see Vic using Forge.

because in Glasslands, Humans now have Forerunner-factioned Engineers. why not have some of those Engineers on Infinity, making maps. They could certainly do it.

Forge being a simulator makes sense, but why the person making the maps a Monitor? though you said we know about Forerunner tech and possible to be a Monitor, but the people that know how that works is sleeping, heading towards Requiem. and even then, you need the Composer to make a Human into a Monitor.

so, an Engineer makes 10x more sense.

not every little thing has to be canon

Maybe some of the SIV’s like to make their own maps for training? We don’t have access to everything that the regular assigned designer would have access to, so it would make sense that we are just SIV’s who are designing our own maps to train on.
