Translation: People said the same crap about forge saving the game for Halo 5 as they are now with Infinite.
When the well we draw water from has the water level artificially risen with gutter oil there comes a point when there’s no more water to be found.
Only other company i’ve seen thoroughly destroy a franchises good name in these specific ways is blizzard (Pre internal scandals) They even have the same approach to books.

Yes, but ONLY if these conditions are met in full:
- Launches with Custom Games Browser
- Is NEVER monetized…EVER
- Full blown modding support and implementation of those mods directly into matchmaking.
All these points carry over to the Master Chief Collection as well. SO MUCH POTENTIAL being squandered.

- Lmao! If they dont monetize it they will PC police it to the grave. Already saw the first steps toward it with MCCs
- They will never do this, especially the 2nd half.

I think the reality is, the majority of people don’t play games, to make maps, myself included. This is for a niche part of the player base. Forge won’t be saving anything.
As Cartilag above said, Forge will save Infinite the same way it saved Halo 5. It didn’t.

No, forge will triple the current desync issue. It’ll also be unbelievably buggy. But that’s why they are smart enough to keep it as a “beta” this time.
