will Flight progress carry over?

will the season pass rewards carry over to halo multiplayer when released?

I hope it does. Asked the same question a while ago most respondents said no. But I’d assume yes myself. Why else would we be trying to do challenges. Wouldn’t be the end of the world though.

They said with the first flight that nothing carries over.
But since we have 2 flights this time it would be nice if battle pass carried over between them.

Believe they’ll carry over between weekends.

But yeah, nothing will progress to the launched game.

Maybe to you, but i kind thought the whole point of playing was to A, get to hve fun, and B be ahead of others when it launched officially, so if all the effort i put in is worthless i will be a bit annoyed

Uh, because we were literally testing how challenges worked so we could give them feedback.

Nope. Everything will be reset when the game launches. They even said that all progress in the flight was for testing purposes.

no

If I recall correctly, 343i said that progress in the Tech Previews will not carry over into launch. The current season in the flights is Season 0 For Our Tomorrow. This season has been available in both previews so far and progress did carry over from preview one on into two. These previews are of limited content in which to test the system so that it functions correctly. The content in these previews are not a proper representation of a final product nor are they anywhere near the amount of content that will be available at launch. If you were able to take part in the second half of Tech Preview 2 and completed 10 games of Big Team Matchmaking you will receive a special emblem at launch.

That wasn’t the point. The whole point was so 343 could test gameplay, services, servers and discover bugs. Not so we could get a head start. They were very open and upfront about this, and have also said nothing will carry over to launch.

I’m actually mindblown by how silly this reply is.

I sincerely hope it does not. Through my personal mistake and 343 not listing the battle price on the same page as the bundles in the store I was unable to even experience half the battlepass during the flight. I’d be irreversibly disgusted if progress was kept at launch. I already hate the BP as it is, let alone have to suffer people having an unfair head start on it.

The point of playing Flights is to test if things work.
You’re basically allowed an Early Access build to experiment and fool around with, finding bugs, playtesting for balance, so that the actual product turns out good.

If you expect a reward out of all this, you aren’t participating in Halo Insider with the correct mindset.

I don’t think it will carry over, but if I remember correctly, Insiders who participated will get a nameplate or a coating or something. I could very well be wrong.

I haven’t played the flights unfortunately but of the Beta tests I ever did for other video games they generally won’t carry progress over to the main game, as for the challenges aspect of the flight 'Possibly?.." but they could have just had those in the flight so they could get players to test them to see if there are any bugs like challenge progress not tracking or not getting rewards for completing the challenges".

But there is a possibility they might give out free emblems or paint jobs/skins to players who participated in the flights and went through the effort of doing challenges and such but don’t quote me on that as the main game is just around the corner with a few months to go.

It won’t carry over into the full release.
