So of all the articles I’ve read about HW2, and all the topics here on Waypoint, I’ve only seen speculation about the game so far, and people talking about what they want to see. Does anyone have any idea when we’re going to get any real info about the game? Will we have to wait until E3 (July) until we get any details about this game?
I am pretty sure we will see the first information in february.
You can expect to see trailers and a few info drops to tickle our brains till E3 where we can expect to see the first gameplay.

Xbox is having an event in February so I believe we’ll get a trailer or a beta trailer or something.

That’d be my guess as well. Hopefully they’ll tease some of the new units at least.

This does not make sense to me. Why would they finally announce any details summer of 2016 when the game is literally going to be released in a couple of months from E3 (fall of 2016). That would be poor marketing and in my opinion, Microsoft would not allow it. Halo 5 was given and shown details of the game way before its release year. Hell, I played the beta during the winter of 2014. I am hopeful we will get substantial details on Halo Wars 2 on February 24th or 25th.

Is it possible to watch the gaming press event? And does someone know the exact time?

Well the marketing of fallout 4 seem to work pretty well. And they pretty much announced it at E3 2015 and released it in fall 2015 lol…
343 is more focused on delivering info on more Halo 5 updates than Halo Wars 2 info. Everyone agrees that the next thing they should, need, and will show, is gameplay. And usually first time gameplay sequences are shown at E3. We may get another teaser or some kind of prepare for the game hype little trailer between now and E3 but full on gameplay will be released at E3. It’s how developers work these days
