Will dominion ever return? Halo 4 has been a bit dull without it. I miss the constant grenade throwing that would come with lockdown and where the stealthy player would impact the game hugely. And where coordinated and strategic teams would rank supreme. The closest I can get to the feel of dominion is CTF and even that isn’t very good since it’s almost always Ragnarok that gets picked which leads almost nothing but fights against the mantis. Does anyone know if this once great gametype may ever return in Halo 4?
Wait… Dominions gone? I haven’t played multiplayer in months so I haven’t noticed, I loved that gametype, it was the only one that reminded me of invasion. I don’t know why they got rid of it, but I hope they bring it back

Yes…it was removed, for there are rotational playlists. I believe its every 2 weeks, but I don’t think will see Dominion anytime soon.

Totally agree. Personally, I don’t understand why its a separate playlist, where the playlist itself seems to be much more useful in a BTB playlist.

I personally enjoyed Dominion a lot and it was basically the only thing I played when halo 4 launched. I don’t know why it’s not in BTB it should be.
Dominion was by far my favorite Playlist, I liked the whole strategic aspect of it. Hope it Rotates back soon!
Dominion was the ONLY reason I bothered to boot up Halo 4, after they removed it I was done. It’s a shame, it was one of the only new things added to multiplayer in 4 that I actually liked. It beat senseless killing, having an objective to work towards.

Even if it was added into BTB it wouldn’t be picked very often. It’d be like Regicide and King of the Hill. And Dominion only applies to 1 of the 2 non DLC maps that gets picked all the time. And seeing as how Ragnarok is more popular than Exile it still wouldn’t be picked much at all. I just don’t see why they remove a gametype with 500+ people playing and yet ones with fewer people playing get to stay.

Lockdown may have been crazy but it was still fun. It rewarded the stealthy player and the organized team. Plus it was the only place I’ve ever managed to get pulse grenade kills

As I’ve said before, we should take Team Throwdown and push it somewhere else and replace it with a DLC playlist or Dominion.
I really hope so. Dominion gave me the feeling of the H3 BTB and Invasion from HR. They need to remove or put the low playlists (throwdown) into action sack.Every Halo game has DLC achievements, yet s few weeks after release they are gone. They REALLY need to bring these back for a few weeks for those who have not gotten the achievements.

No, it rewarded Active Camo usage because it lacked a motion tracker.
