I really hope she comes back. If she doesn’t then id be mad and probably not like Halo nearly as good. I don’t think 343 would just kill her off and leave her out, would they?
Well, it is highly unlikely the real Cortana will come back given that she is dead.
I hope she come back, Halo is just not the same without her, wouldn’t be awesome if Johnson managed to survive Oracle attack? He was by far my second favorite my first is Cortana, i think its the only female character whos not annoying in a video game lol !
I think there could be a new AI or main character and Chief may have some dodgy Cortana flashbacks HALO 3
I highly doubt that we wont see her in Guardians, however, if she does sort of come ‘back’ it wont be in the same way.

I really hope they do not. I do like her as a character but you got to think who is this all focus on? Who eyes are we seeing through? Cortona is not the answer for this.
With storys you want people to connect to the main character. I don’t replay the COD seres because I don’t get into it. I do it for achievements. while halo 4, I played trough it like 3 times before MCC and then partial right now. Because master chief had character.
Bungie never did that. I felt like he was a giant robot that sole purpose was to destroy everything bad. And 343i made fun of this several time secretly “Chief, you got to think, who is the machine, and who is the human?”
343i has brought something great to him by kill cortona, now he has a purpose besides saving the world, and it is to find his best friend.

No, it wouldn’t be awesome for Johnson to have survived because it would make zero sense for him to do so.
