Will Cortana be an option as an AI?

It will be amazing to get Cortana as an AI, maybe unlocked after completing the campaign?

As cool as it would be, I’m fairly confident the point is that these are dumb AI. Not smart ones like Cortana. So for lore reasons, more appropriate throwback AI would be characters like Vergil and Auntie Dot.

I agree, for lore reasons they probably wouldn’t add Cortana. I’d really like to see announcer packs like in Halo 5 - I would do anything for a Sgt Johnson MP anncouncer pack lol

The idea of Sgt. Johnson as an announcer is just so brilliant, so obvious, that I truly cannot believe that Halo 5 didn’t add him when they introduced new announcers.

I believe the ability to have different announcers in Infinite was confirmed via the beta of the new Waypoint app, where it was an inaccessible tab, right? Naturally, Buck will undoubtedly be one of the choices given his popularity as an announcer in Halo 5. However, something has come to my mind regarding announcers in Infinite. How will Buck and the other announcers “announce” in the game? If it’s more like Halo 5, there may be too much overlap (if that is the correct term) between them and the personal AI. Thus, I think it is entirely possible that announcers in Infinite may end up functioning like the default.

would be cool. i could see people being able to unlock it though battle pass or an challenge in the campaign.
