I really don’t want to come across as greedy, but I would like to know if 343 has plans to continue to making content for Halo 5?
I’ve heard that Frank O’ Connor has “allegedly” confirmed that support for Halo 5 will continue after the Warzone: Firefight update, but I’m unsue of whether he meant that the support would be limited to just bug and glitch patching or that more content updates would be made. I understand that patching bugs and glitches is essential, but I’d much rather have the patches released alongside a content update.
I know that it must come to end someday but I really don’t want it to be just yet, as I’ve really enjoyed the monthly updates.
I feel like they will - I know they should, otherwise this game will die mighty quickly. I just remember at E3, them talking about how playing Halo 5 on the Xbox Scorpio would maintain the highest resolution and perform better in that manner and seeing as Scorpio is a year and a half away, surely they know that this game will be pretty barren by that point. Also, Forge isn’t even out for PC yet and I would think 343 would want to allow people to do something with that content, outside of custom games with a declining population. On the other hand, making the game free this week and dropping this big update, adding Daily Login packs and other free packs for commendations and playing FF, etc… Could be one last blitz to try and grab and hook as many new players as possible before they pull all the devs off, leaving just a skeleton crew to maintain and bug fix. Or it could be a little of both. (I’m not knocking the addition of more rewards, btw, it’s beyond welcome and leaves the whole endeavor feeling a little less… cold :P)
I’m sure they will. Halo 5 doesn’t even have a race mode yet.
I think we will get more content they just don’t want to commit to any type of time frame for it. I bet we get am action sack playlist at some point… at least I hope we do.
Hey OP, content updates will indeed continue for Halo 5. Don’t know the extent of that, but there are still updates to Forge, REQ, etc to drop, as noted above Forge for Windows 10 and there should be new maps (and I imagine game modes) dropping soon - if you check the Community Creations forums you’ll see a list of map submission threads, so we should have some awesome community maps hitting the rotation 
Sure, considering that it is Microsofts biggest title and Halo 6 won’t be out for well over another year. Nothing as big as this last update but still will be something.

Nobody knows at the moment, though I’m guessing that they’ll talk about that a bit at RTX. Either way, as long as they keep giving us content, I’m happy!

Well we’ve got a literal infinite number of maps we can get, so long as our forgers are creative. We’re definitely going to get every req in forge at some point, Race isn’t here yet, and there’s another few modes that are still unreleased.
But as of now Halo 5 is at the healthiest point it’s ever been.
